Not even a sleep and we are gone....

While, kinda a half sleep and than we are gone.

I just finished my last load of laundry, and am ready to start packing. I hate this part the most. Probably because I have a tendency to overpack. Ask anyone who came on our Manning trip, I am amazing at overpacking.

Ummmm, I think I have everything else done though.
I am so ready to rock out.

And, last time I checked, the boys were ready to go to. They even managed to pack the beer bong. This is gonna be a mess.

So yeah, next time I write we will all be back. Be prepared for every, single juicy detail, no one's gonna be spared.

This is gonna be wicked awsome, I am so excited....now I gotta pack.

There are only 9 days till Mexico.

People say that time passes slowly right up until you head to the airport.....sooo not true!!! Everything is just zippin' by. I love it. It's all so very exciting.

We are stopping at Timmy Hoe's either on the way to or at YVR. It has to be done. One last taste of Canada eh!!!

That's it, just 10 days left, and we head'er to Mexico.

I have so much stuff to get done in 10 days, it's not even funny. On the agenda for today is work, work, pick up muffins for work tomorrow, work, work, and go tanning.

Friday is pretty much the same. Except no muffin run.

Saturday I am going shopping and trying to get as much stuff finished as possible. Then all the other errands will have to fit in between everything else next week.

Yikes......so much to do.

How very exciting. This is like one of the biggest days for the people of Mexico. Plus, it gives everyone else an excuse to have a Margarita at 2 in the afternoon.

So yeah, I propose that we all go out and have a shot or two of Tequilla.....celebrate this important Mexican holiday...and ya know, warm up for our trip to Mexico.

So, I went to the travel clinic yesterday.....and I would just like to say that, ummm, those shots kinda hurt. I had to get two of them...one in each arm!!! Oh well, at least now I am protected for life against Measles, Mumps, and Rubella. Hepatitis A is only good for 20 years, but still, booster shot in 20 years....I can deal with that.

And yeah Crystal, they gave me a sucker when I was done. I got an orange one...it was good!!!

The doctor who I saw gave me a bunch of really useful information too. Most of it I had heard before, but it was still good to review it all.

Here is what we talked about....
1) Dengue Fever
2) How to protect yourself against mosquito-borne diseases
3) The proper use of insect repellents (think DEET)
4) Animal bites and the spread of rabies
5) Traveler's Diarrhea
6) General water and food precautions

Yuppers, I think that's about it.

Friday morning, have to go to work....and all I wanna do is get ready to go to Mexico. I have so much to do....ARGHHH.

Oh well, I made my appointment with the travel clinic for next Tuesday morning. We will see how that goes. I have to get a shot. I hate shots.
